Using Frozen fruit in jam
This year we got a lot of small batches of strawberries so I froze them as they were picked. Now that the weather is cooler I thought I'd make a few batches of jam but am unsure how to use the frozen fruit. Do I thaw and drain or do I use the liquid /juices in the jam? I have only made jam with fresh fruit before. Again do I drain the liquid off the cranberries or just throw it in the pan?Thanks for any help, I appreciate it. Have a great day.
