Question about dried/dehydrated garlic cloves
I am a newbie and this is my first post. Last weekend I visited the farmer's market in Stratford Ontario and bought some dehydrated, whole, garlic cloves that were salted. They were wonderful as snacks and very mild. I have a suspicion that they were roasted too, but don't know that for sure. I'd like to try making them myself but am not sure how to proceed. I haven't been able to find a recipe online. Do I dehydrate the peeled cloves first? and then roast them? How do I get the salt to stick? Do I roast them with olive oil and salt first and then dry them? Has anyone tried this? Thanks for any ideas or recommendations.
