[TN] '07 Mt Pleasant Semillon
Tonight's dinner consisted of some excellent blue cod purchased from a
local fishmonger, along with sauteed baby bok choy. We had with it:
2007 McWillam's Mount Pleasant Semillon "Classic"
nose: minerals, a hint of lemon and earth
palate: medium-light body, crisp acidity, dry finish
This was purchased at the winery last month and represents Mount
Pleasant's early-drinking Semillon (their top-of-the-line cuvée
Elizabeth is usually aged longer before release). A great wine with the
fish, it is somewhat in the vein of Chablis and Muscadet but with its
own unique character.

Sounds great, I really enjoy Oz Semillon (when I can find it)
