Nailed it in one!
A friend came to dinner Friday night and brought a bottle of Selosse
"Initial" NV Blanc de Blanc Champagne that he insisted that we open
with snacks before dinner. My first taste of Selosse and I didn't
know what to expect. Weird yet delicious! Different impressions with
each sip ranging from "scotch and soda" to apple pie to "Pilsner" to
"coffee" and on and on. Very intense mousse to begin with that fell
off quickly to a slightly petillant still wine. It was interesting
and exotic but not typical.

I just went back and searched for notes within this group on
Selosse...I get it.
