OT: Newsreader for Mac
I recently switched to a Mac and would welcome any advice on which
newsreaders Mac members of this group use. I use News.Individual.Net
to access groups. I do not subscribe to any binary groups. (FWIW, I
used Forte Agent with Windows)
I sent this message from Google groups, but would prefer to use a
reader that allows me to organize my usenet information.
Thanks in advance.

I use Thunderbird on the Mac for reading newsgroups. It's not as
advanced as newsreader as Forte Agent, but it's serviceable with
threading, filters and multiple accounts possible. There are other
Mac-friendly newsreaders out there, but I haven't tried them.
Anything's better than Giggle Groups, though.

At least you can still do that. Comcast does not support newsgroups.

I know, Larry. We have Comcast cable Internet at home, too. That's why
I use news.aioe.org, a free newsserver that carries afw, these days. No
registration and allows posting.
