You don't say if you have a car or not. I you do go to Marche Bacchus
(http://www.marchebacchus.com). They have a wine store next door. I don't
know if they allow corkage not from next door.
If you want great food from a place that allows corkage, go to the Burger
Bar at Mandalay Place (http://www.usmenuguide.com/burgerbar.htm). They have
incredible burgers including the Rossini Burger ($60) which has Kobe Beef,
foie gras, truffles and Madeira sauce. I often say I would rather have a
$20 burger there than a $50 steak on the strip. They don't take
reservations and there can be a wait during prime times.
I live here and can guide you better if I have a better idea what you want.
I mostly bring my own wine as I probably have better wines in my cellar
than they have on a list. Don't be so reluctant about coming here. This is
a great town and I have only gambled a couple of times in the past few
years.

I m driving thus the bringing my own case of wine thing. I know wine
markup in Vegas is particularly bad. Any place with good selection and
reasonable prices for wines.

I have family there.
I've always liked going Nora's in Summerlin. Link is here.

For a strictly carry-out selection, there is a new place (6 - 8
months?) that has opened on the west side of Las Vegas. My daughter
says prices and selection are good. I do not have the name handy, but
I will try to get and post soon. Have a great trip.
