I used to buy Cayuse wines occasionally at the tasting room in
downtown W2 when I lived there. Nowadays the tasting room is only open
maybe one day a year, to sell futures I guess. Sometimes I see it in a
shop, but can't make the down payment.

I have been to Walla Walla about 7x now since the first time I
asked...I remember some of your suggestions like Buty..loved all you
suggested.
From the first time I went to W2, the Cayuse downtown shop has NEVER
been open. But at a restaurant called Saffron in downtown, a couple
next to my wife and I share their bottle of the "god only knows" and I
wanted to find some. Yes, I dramatically overpaid for these 2...but,
I guess I really liked it! I like the label to.
After 7 years of being on wait list I got a email from Cayuse
recently...at first I thought cool, I am finally on list..well, read
below:
These guys are too funny...I laughed pretty hard after this email
arrived..but of course I was certain I was on thier list.
Dear Richard,
You've probably heard the expression "good things come to those who
wait." And you may even be familiar with the old Dutch proverb "An
ounce of patience is worth a pound of brains." But after sitting a
while on our wait list, you could be feeling like a child staring at
unopened gifts, and we wouldn't blame you for getting a little
fidgety.
So here's our holiday message: We haven't forgotten about you, and
your perseverance will be rewarded one day. The great Greek
philosopher Aristotle probably summed it up best when he said,
"Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet." If it's any comfort,
he's not on the Cayuse mailing list yet either, and he's been waiting
since 322 B.C.
Best wishes and santé,
Christophe Baron, Vigneron Trevor Dorland, PDG
P.S. We look forward to adding your name to our Mailing List as soon
as possible. In the meantime, please let us know of any address or
contact information changes. Also, if your patience is wearing extra
thin, you might be able to find a few bottles of Cayuse in the retail
marketplace at www.wine-searcher.com.

Congratulations! Also, I'm glad to know my suggestions were helpful.
