Thread: Stuffed Jalapeno peppers

    Default Stuffed Jalapeno peppers

Putting this on the food group......it's a convo from an unrelated
    thread on asd

Here's the recipe for them, and a photo

    http://januaryvegetarians.blogspot.c...d-peppers.html

The peppers aren't breaded, they are marinated then roasted and
finally stuffed. Very nice. If you aren't interested in spending
ages piping feta cheese into the peppers, cut them in 1/2 and fill
    them as they lay open.

Oven roasted jalapenos are another favourite, and they meet the
requirements that Quentin would want in his food (or so i believe!)

You'll also find them on alt.food.barbecue and alt.binaries.food. Folks
there call them "Wolf Turds." Stuffed Habaneros are called "Dragon Turds."

    oh ya, big time!

I also like the roasted (choice of variety) peppers you can buy, some
marinated, some not. Amazing how sweet and NOT hot these typically HOT
    peppers are!

We grew some last year. Even when cooked in sparingly, they add a lot of
heat! Not as much flavor as Thai Prik Kee Noo, though.

When I was a kid, we used to say, "Anyone who'll take a dare'll steal
sheep. Have to add, " . . . or eat a Ghost Pepper!" LMAO
