I like a few Garbanzos in my salads.

I like them cooked but apparently not raw!

I'm fairly surprised you can eat them raw - so many of the beans are
toxic without cooking.

I've never eaten them raw. They're good cooked into a stew. In Sicily, the
flour is used to make fritters (paneddi).
