Well, damn.

Doesn't soda stream require a CO2 cylinder for each bottle? How well
does it carbonate? I like really "hard" bubbles.

Yes, it does, and the cheapest you can replace them is by bringing them
into Bed, Bath and Beyond and exchanging them, preferably with a BBB
coupone. $12-$15 instead of $30 each.

Oops, NO.

I've read that each cartridge is good for 60 of their bottles or so.

Have to recheck, but I'm pretty sure.

Wait.... $30 each. Each *what*? Not cartridge surely. I used to use a
soda syphon, and I bought cartons of cartridges, and they weren't that
much.

I must go do some research.

$49.99 for the size to make 130L. Not a good price in my book!
